Valerie L. Barbic
Valerie L. Barbic, a partner of the firm, was admitted to the New York State Bar in January 1992. She is also admitted to Federal District Court in the Western and Northern Districts. Ms. Barbic has extensive experience, including trial experience, in the areas of insurance defense and Labor Law litigation. In addition, she has a broad range of experience in toxic tort defense. She has defended homeowners in lead paint cases since 1998. She has engaged in the defense of manufacturers of asbestos pipe covering, miners of asbestos, and contractors using asbestos-containing materials throughout the state of New York. In addition, she has defended HVAC contractors, manufacturers and retailers of various products in sick building and multiple chemical sensitivity actions. She is also experienced in the defense of mold claims, construction defect cases and product liability actions.
